SEED TO SUMMIT CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOL ACADEMY

RACIALLY NONDISCRIMINATORY POLICY AS TO STUDENTS

Purpose

Seed to Summit Christian Homeschool Academy ("Academy") is committed to operating in a manner consistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Revenue Procedure 75-50, Revenue Procedure 2019-22, and all applicable federal and state laws. The Academy affirms its commitment to providing educational opportunities without regard to race, color, or national or ethnic origin.

Policy

The Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the Academy.

The Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, enrollment practices, scholarship or tuition assistance programs, employment practices, athletic programs, extracurricular activities, or any other school-administered programs.

The Academy shall not deny admission, participation, benefits, privileges, or opportunities to any student on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin.

Public Notice

The Academy shall make this policy known to the general public by including an appropriate nondiscrimination statement in admissions materials, enrollment materials, handbooks, catalogs, and other publications relating to student admission and participation. The Academy shall also maintain a notice of its nondiscriminatory policy on its primary publicly accessible website in a manner reasonably expected to be noticed by visitors.

Recordkeeping

The Academy shall maintain records sufficient to demonstrate compliance with this policy and applicable IRS requirements, including records relating to admissions, enrollment, student participation, and any financial assistance programs that may be offered.

Administration

The Board of Directors shall be responsible for oversight of this policy. The School Director shall be responsible for implementing this policy and ensuring that Academy operations, admissions practices, and educational programs are administered in accordance with its requirements.

Adoption

This policy was adopted by resolution of the Board of Directors of Seed to Summit Christian Homeschool Academy and shall remain in effect until amended or repealed by the Board.
