Seed to Summit Christian Homeschool Academy is a Christ-centered homeschool academic program designed to support families through strong academics, discipleship, leadership opportunities, and meaningful community. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge, character, and skills needed to thrive in college, career, and life.

Is Seed to Summit a school?

No. Seed to Summit is a homeschool support and academic co-op program. Parents remain legally responsible for their child’s education, records, and homeschooling compliance.

What grades do you serve?

Our Summit Academic Program currently serves students in 7th–12th grade with rigorous academic classes and electives.

Our Seed Scholar Program for younger students (K–6th) is currently available for teachers’ children as we continue to grow.

Are classes taught from a biblical worldview?

Yes. All curriculum and instruction are taught through a biblical worldview and must align with Seed to Summit’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Principles.

Are your high school classes transcript-worthy?

Yes. Our core academic classes are designed to meet rigorous academic expectations and are intended to be listed on homeschool transcripts.

Is this a drop-off program?

Primarily, yes. Seed to Summit offers a drop-off option for families in the Summit Academic Program for an additional fee.

A limited number of parents may remain on campus in designated support roles as space and need allow.

Are parents required to volunteer?

Parents who remain on campus are expected to serve in assigned support roles during each class block they are present. While teaching is not required, participation and cooperation are essential to the success of the program.

What is your attendance policy?

Because consistency is essential to the success of our program:

• attendance is taken seriously for both students and parents
• excessive absences or tardiness may affect registration priority
• continued attendance issues may impact future participation

Families are encouraged to schedule appointments on non-co-op days whenever possible.

What are your academic expectations?

Students enrolled in core classes should expect:

• regular homework
• class participation
• testing and projects
• deadlines
• respectful classroom behavior
• academic integrity

Cheating, plagiarism, and unauthorized use of AI are prohibited.

Do you accommodate students with special needs?

We desire to be as inclusive as possible; however, most of our teachers are not specially trained in special education services. Families should communicate any special circumstances with leadership before registration so we can determine whether a class is an appropriate fit.

What is your approach to discipline and conflict resolution?

We follow a biblical conflict resolution model based on Matthew 18. Our goal is always restoration, communication, and reconciliation whenever possible.

Behavior concerns are handled with:

What safety measures are in place?

Safety procedures include:

• required background checks

• attendance tracking
• two-deep leadership policies

Are background checks required?

Yes. Background checks are required for participating adults in member households as well as visitors in many circumstances.

Do students have dress code expectations?

Yes. Students, parents, and staff are expected to dress modestly and respectfully in keeping with a Christian educational environment.

How does membership work?

Membership is family-based and renewed yearly. Families must:

• agree with the Statement of Faith
• comply with policies and procedures
• complete background checks
• pay membership dues and applicable fees

How is Seed to Summit governed?

Seed to Summit is overseen by a Board of Directors and leadership team that manages the organization’s operations, finances, academics, and long-term vision in accordance with the bylaws and organizational policies.

Do you offer leadership and social opportunities for students?

Yes! We are intentionally building meaningful student experiences including:
